Terms and conditions.

1. Definitions

The Stage

The RED Studio filming space - main soundstage 700 m², at the production and correspondence address indicated in Contact and in the booking confirmation (currently Strada Progresului 25, Sector 5, Bucharest), made available to the Client according to the booking.

The Client

The natural or legal person who rents the Stage and/or uses the redstudio.ro website in connection with RED Studio services.

The Operator

CSTUDIO RO FILM PRODUCTION SRL, owner and administrator of RED Studio, with its registered office at the address indicated in the Contact section.

The Booking

Confirmed in a commercial sense upon issuance of the proforma invoice and payment of the deposit agreed in the quote; details (date, start time, package) are communicated in writing by the Operator.

The shoot day / interval

Duration and package type are those in the written confirmation and in the published rate card, including full day (12 h), half day (6 h), prep/wrap, half stage (~350 m², daily rate), overtime at the hourly rate, as applicable. "Half stage" is not the same as "half day (6 h)" if the quote provides otherwise.

2. Booking and confirmation

Booking conditions: exceeding the reserved schedule is invoiced at the applicable hourly rate. The booking is considered confirmed upon issuance of the proforma invoice and payment of the deposit.

• The booking is initiated by email to [email protected] or by phone at +40 770 979 442, stating the desired date, production type and package (if applicable).
• The booking is considered confirmed upon issuance of the proforma invoice and payment of the deposit under the quote conditions (in practice 30% of the value of the accepted package or quote, unless otherwise provided in the proforma invoice or contract).
• The date and time interval are blocked in the calendar after the deposit is received per the proforma invoice or instructions sent by email.
• Exceeding the reserved schedule is invoiced at the applicable hourly rate and subject to studio availability.
• The Client receives written confirmation (email) that includes: date, start time, chosen package, total agreed amount and essential payment conditions.

Without issuance of the proforma invoice and payment of the agreed deposit, and where applicable without written confirmation, the Operator has no obligation to hold the requested slot.

3. Payment

• Deposit: in the amount on the proforma invoice (usually 30% on booking confirmation), per the instructions sent; if the proforma invoice or contract provides a different percentage or due date, those take precedence.
• Balance: 70% at least 24 hours before the start of the reserved interval (shoot day or first day of the booking), per the instructions in the invoice or email; the same precedence rule applies for contract and proforma.
• Methods: bank transfer (preferred), cash at the premises, card at the premises if the infrastructure allows it at the time of payment.
• The fiscal invoice is issued on the shoot day or the next business day, per the Operator's accounting practice.
• Rates in the published grid and in the quote are understood before VAT, in line with the official presentation; VAT is added at invoicing at the legal rate in force (per practice: VAT is added to all applicable amounts).

4. Cancellation and rescheduling

The policy below applies in the absence of different clauses in the signed contract or quote. Business days are those per the Romania calendar, excluding weekends and legal holidays, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Cancellation at least 5 business days before the reserved date: deposit refunded 100%.
• Cancellation 3-4 business days before: deposit refunded 50%.
• Cancellation less than 3 business days before: deposit non-refundable.
• Rescheduling (without cancellation): free once, with written notice at least 5 business days before the original date, subject to calendar availability.
• Force majeure (natural disasters, legal or governmental prohibitions, other external and unavoidable events): deposit refunded 100%, with no penalties for either party, after the situation is verified.

5. Use of the stage

• The Client has exclusive access to the Stage for the confirmed booking duration, within the spaces and equipment included in the package.
• Access for the Client's crew starts at the agreed time. Client delay does not extend the booking duration and does not oblige the Operator to overtime without prior agreement and separate billing.
• Wrap (strike, packing equipment, cleaning the work area to a reasonable initial condition) must be completed within the reserved interval. Overrun is treated as overtime if technically possible and agreed.
• Overtime and exceeding reserved hours are charged at the hourly rate in force and subject to availability, with prior RED Studio agreement where applicable.

6. Studio access rules

• Access to the studio is allowed only to people from the project crew, as set by the project representative.
• Access to storage and technical rooms is not allowed.
• Smoking and consumption of alcohol are forbidden indoors.
• Food is not consumed on the stage (only in the kitchen area).
• Any special effect (smoke, fireworks, candles, water, flammable materials) requires prior approval from the Operator.
• Furniture and equipment are used with care, without modifications, holes, adhesives or attachments on walls, except with prior approval.
• The space and equipment are handed back in the initial condition (normal wear accepted).
• Any damage, deterioration or loss is invoiced in full to the beneficiary, per contractual clauses and agreed findings.
• Personal belongings remain the responsibility of the Client's crew.
• The full access and operating rules are sent and signed at booking confirmation, as a complementary document to these terms.

7. Client responsibilities

• The Client is liable for material damage caused to the Stage, equipment provided or support spaces by their crew, collaborators or guests.
• The Client ensures their crew follows the health and safety rules communicated by RED Studio (including load capacity, circuits, vehicle access).
• Flammable substances, pyrotechnics and special effects with fire require prior written approval from the Operator and, where the law requires, documentation from authorities.
• Animals on the Stage are allowed only with prior written approval and under conditions that do not affect safety or hygiene of the space.
• The Client obtains and maintains at their own expense all rights, licenses and authorizations needed for the production (music, image, actors, trademarks, simulated locations, etc.). The Operator does not verify and does not guarantee the legality of content created by the Client.

8. RED Studio equipment

• Equipment included in the package is provided in working condition at the agreed practical handover (technical handover).
• Faults arising during normal use, not attributable to the Client, are remedied by RED Studio at no extra cost, within stock and available time.
• Damage caused by the Client's fault or their crew is invoiced separately, at a reasonable replacement or repair value, based on findings and documentation.
• The Client does not modify firmware, cabling or equipment configuration without written agreement from authorized RED Studio technical staff.

9. Confidentiality and image use

• RED Studio does not disclose to third parties confidential information about the Client's production (script, budget, guests, launch dates) except with the Client's agreement or if the law requires it.
• The Client may use images and recordings made at RED Studio for any lawful purpose, within the rights they hold over the content.
• RED Studio may photograph or film the space during production for its own portfolio only with the Client's agreement requested in advance. Agreement may be refused at no extra cost; in that case the Operator does not use materials that visually identify the Client's production.

10. Limitation of liability

• RED Studio is not liable for loss or damage to equipment, materials or files brought by the Client, except in the case of proven fault of the Operator.
• RED Studio does not guarantee the artistic or commercial result of the Client's production.
• Production delays caused by factors independent of RED Studio (Client's crew, weather at exterior access, third-party suppliers, etc.) do not give rise to damages against the Operator.
• To the extent permitted by law, RED Studio's contractual liability to the Client for direct damages is limited to the value of the package paid for the contested day or period, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delayed or defective performance of obligations if caused by force majeure, within the meaning of Art. 1351 et seq. of the Civil Code, including but not limited to: natural disasters, declared epidemics or pandemics, legal prohibitions or decisions of authorities that prevent lawful use of the Stage.

The affected party notifies the other party in writing, within a maximum of 24 hours of the event arising, and uses reasonable diligence to limit the damage.

12. Disputes

Romanian law applies to these terms and to contracts concluded in connection with RED Studio.

The parties will make efforts for amicable settlement of disputes. Failing agreement within a reasonable time, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts at the Operator's registered office in Bucharest, Romania, subject to the legal rules on subject-matter and territorial jurisdiction.
