On the Bucharest market there are two categories of studios. The first: small spaces, under 150-200 m², suited to compact productions. The second: large spaces, a few of them comparable in area to RED Studio, but that raise other serious problems. They are either on the edge of the city, or in areas hard to reach for crews and equipment. Or they offer space and nothing more, without real production facilities. No makeup, no client lounge, no parking, no industrially sized electrical power.
RED Studio exists from the need to solve exactly that. The label story started in 2021, from feedback gathered across dozens of productions. We saw what was missing, what got in the way, what lost time. We took all of that feedback and built one place where the stage, make-up, dressing rooms, client lounge and storage sit under the same roof.
The investment exceeded 800,000 euros. Full renovation, technology and industrial infrastructure designed from scratch. We did not adapt an existing space. We designed it for production.
1,400 m² in central Bucharest means the art truck comes in, not just the small van. It means you can build vertically up to 9 m. It means you can fly a drone indoors or bring a car onto the stage. It means full light blackout and 200 kW of power on a dedicated circuit. It means the film crew, the client and the agency are in the same building, on separate flows, with no logistics compromises.
Behind the infrastructure sits the operational experience of the cstudio.ro team: commercials, music videos, live sessions and commercial productions for brands in Romania. We do not manage an abstract space. We use it on real productions, under the same pressures as you.
